Colorado Springs Newborn Photographer, Baby Tahlia

Sweet baby Tahlia!  I had the incredible honor of documenting baby T's birth a month ago, and 2 weeks later, she came to see me in the studio for her newborn photos!  Her demeanor after her birth was so calm and curious, she just popped out of the water with wide eyes like "hello world!"  She was going through a cluster feeding growth spurt though during her newborn session and made me work for each pose. We did manage to get a lot of really sweet sleepy poses, but towards the end of the session, she was only content on a lap.  Luckily mama brought along her postpartum doula -Jenn Leonard of Colorado Mountain Doulas LLC- and we were able to transform her lap into a temporary bowl prop. Sometimes you just have to get creative to get the shots you need!
