Milestone Mini Sessions
Did you know that Puddles & Pearls now offers milestone mini sessions every month! These 30 minute studio sessions are the perfect way to document your child's growth without scheduling a full session. We keep the styling for these sessions simple and clean with minimal props and neutral colors to keep the focus on your child. Outfits up to 18 months are available for clients to use.
Why choose a mini session?
- This is a great alternative for newborn clients who want just a few portraits in between newborn and the 1st birthday to document the many milestones of the first year without scheduling a full session.
- These sessions are also perfect for birthday portraits or updated wall portraits of your older kiddos.
- This is a great option for your annual school portraits (especially if you are distance learning!)
- Mini sessions are quick and affordable and include both printed artwork and digital files with personal printing rights.
What's the difference between a full session and a mini session?
- Time: Milestone mini sessions are 30 minutes long, with clients scheduled back to back on a set date. Full sessions have no time restrictions. If your child takes longer to warm up and feel comfortable around strangers, a full session might be a better option.
- Budget: While print pricing is similar for both mini and full sessions, mini sessions cater more toward small prints with a lower investment than full sessions.
- Customization: Full sessions are completely customized experiences while mini sessions are not. If you have something specific in mind for your session or prefer an outdoor location, let's plan for a full session!
- Quantity: The mini session booking fee includes up to 5 portraits, in print and digital format, with additional portraits available for purchase. A larger variety of images are available with full sessions.
- Multiple children: Mini session time slots are for only 1 child. Additional time slots will need to be reserved for siblings. If you have 3 or more kiddos you plan to bring, you might consider booking a full family session instead of a mini session.
- Frequency: If you like to have professional portraits made of your children more often than once per year, mini sessions are an excellent option for capturing growth throughout the year. At the end of the year, you can create a wall collage, an album or a story box filled with small prints from all seasons of the year.
